About the Conference

The Bike+Walk Minnesota Conference is geared toward everyone interested in supporting and promoting biking and walking in Minnesota. We want you at the table if your background comes from parks and recreation, public health, tourism, transportation planning, politics, or advocacy.

It will be a multidisciplinary conversation about the intersection of active transportation, community development, inequities, and advocacy. Professionals and advocates from across Minnesota will come together and go beyond breakout sessions to explore connections between biking and walking, discuss how communities are creating better public spaces for all users, and address the open-ended question of what comes next for transportation and recreation options in the North Star State.

What to expect: Two full days of professional programming, breakout sessions, keynotes, and mobile workshops. Additionally, there will be opportunities for networking and informal collaboration on Sunday afternoon, Sunday evening, and Monday evening.

When: April 29 – May 1, 2018

Where: The DoubleTree Hotel in Rochester, 150 S Broadway, Rochester, MN 55904
